It was 62 when I left the house this morning in EC, dropped to 50 around Frederick when I went through the front. 40 at Cumberland, 29 and light snow when I got off 68! An interesting drive weather wise, 33 degrees in 2.5hrs!

9 penalties all game, 3 by the chiefs (all line of scrimmage infractions, offsides). Not one offensive holding call all game. The defensive holding penalty called at the end of the game could have probably been called 6 more times during the game on other plays but wasn't. If you're gonna let them play, let them play THE WHOLE game. The Chiefs won and deserved it. Eagles lost on the fumble scoop n score and terrible punt coverage. The NFL got an exciting offensive competition. Doesn't change the fact that officiating in the league is terrible, and probably by design. I watched many other games during the season end on similar ticky tack calls.

Chiefs are the champs, no doubt. Eagles gave the game away in the second half. Their field goal possessions had to be TDs. That said, holy hell what a terrible ending. Knee downs and FG with no time left? No thanks. They let them play pretty much all game. How do you throw a flag on 3rd down?

All season they have been fighting leaking water pipes and other mechanical issues. Apparently the new GM that was hired in 2019 is a real tightwad. Today was a 11/10 day, no lines, warm temps and sun. All trails have a good base, should make it through the warm week, so you should have fun next weekend! Make sure you purchase tickets in advance in case they sell out.

After a low of 0 it turned out to be a perfect day out in Deep Creek. Blue skies and sunny with just a slight breeze. High of 37F @ 4:30PM. Quite the swing in temps. Wisp actually fixed their water pipe issues and made a ton of snow so it was also a good day on the slopes.

Its darn cold right now. Had to deploy my space heaters. My old drafty cabin doesn't hold in the heat. Not frozen to the ground like IronTy though

I know they work hard and the job sucks, but the guys on the truck this morning gave zero F*s about where the contents of our can ended up.

Jay Peak (our Wisp passes get us comp tickets!) on April 2. Figured we do a day in the water park and a day or two skiing. If you have any suggestions for other activities in the area i am all ears. We have a 5 and 10 year old. I can handle anything on the mountain but they stick to blue/greens.

How was the skiing? I'm heading up in April. Hoping 1. there will be snow and 2. it wont be as cold!

I'm surprised NWS took the time to put out a map for a chance of 0.1" of snow. They must know snow weenies are desperate.
