Big cell pushing into Prince William County in VA has Burke in its crosshairs. Thinking that might be the main show for me today, with any other cells firing just some icing on a relatively small cake for me.

Definitely on the lookout for discrete cells in Burke. Seems like things are popping and filling in to our south and rotating up here on the double quick.

Fairfax County Schools are cancelling afternoon events, but no word on sending kids home early. I heard this event is a bust, so I guess that's the right call.

And that's pretty much all that needs to be said, especially with a changing base state.

What does it matter? Fairfax County is in their second week of school right now. Kids have off this Friday and then Monday, so they have a nice, long holiday weekend and a couple slightly shorter weeks after the hubbub of going back.
