  1. Do you have a Bluesky link? Would love to read your thoughts!
  2. Vort looks a little more consolidated and the ridge in the west is a bit sharper(?) at 48.
  3. That’d be a fun drive out to a long weekend at Wisp with the wife and kids in the family truckster. I’m in.
  4. Heading out for our yearly multi-family trip to Wisp on the 28th. Starting to look like we might have picked a decent time go…
  5. Clicked it like 10 years ago, but people keep quoting…
  6. Maybe we should cancel storm 1 so we can get storm 2. Whaddaya think?
  7. <>Charleston got like 40” a few runs ago</>
  8. I’m still not even seeing past 126, but this was looking MUCH better at that point.
  9. That energy is also farther SW and diving in harder than on prior runs.
  10. I heard we’re going to get to 80, so our snowpack will get nuked.
  11. I had 9” in the early-January storm and I’m a smidge west of the fall line!
  12. I don’t think it’s really a “new” thing, but rather a timing difference. If you look at 00z, there’s a piece of energy that dives in a couple frames before this. Whether I’m right or not, if we can get that piece to dive in and phase then we’re in bidness.
  13. I’m down for that. Let’s have some bobcats, too.
  14. Those fuckers are everywhere.
  15. lol…you two bringing the Eeyore? Surprise!
  16. Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well, Will, but…the f*ck are you talking about?
  17. Thats why I qualified it with the words “right now.” You think I haven’t been at this shit with the rest of you for like 20 years? I know how to cover my ass…
  18. The Christmas season is obviously the best time to get a banger pattern with multiple shots at snow, but the next-best option is to have that same setup during our coldest part of the year. Gives us a little wiggle room with temps, and sun angle/length of day are still much more favorable than when we get into mid-February. Loving the general positive vibes right now. We say this a lot, but just being able to track potentially realistic outcomes beats the hell out of wishing that an established crap pattern will somehow flip and turn into a snowy one in our neck of the woods!
