  1. By saying "position groups," I assume he's lumping the tight ends with the wide receivers.
  2. I suppose this was 0.5" but it may have been closer to 0.75" as the snow shut off...I just wasn't awake for it. When you're snow starved, you gotta parse the details!
  3. Pretty nasty day today. Would be nice to get first measurable overnight.
  4. That's such a dumb tweet. Why even post that here? I ask that question seriously.
  5. In before someone quotes me and strikes through "until the event is underway."
  6. Same. The RGEM is atrocious until the event is underway.
  7. Probably where my Dad got it from. He has always been an AccuWeather guy (almost went to work for them as a sales guy years ago), so he probably just continued following Bastardi after he left.
  8. A month or so ago, my Dad sent me a link that pointed to some sort of research behind this. He's a smart guy, and while I could see that *maybe* there's something in it, I just kind of let it slide.
  9. I spent the weekend away from the board and I feel much better for it.
  10. But I heard that God so loved Mahomes that He healed Mahomes this week. Can you imagine giving the Almighty two weeks to heal a player?
  11. Once we get past the Holidays, then it really is miserable. Snow just slaps a band-aid on it.
  12. We'll be well into spring before we know it, and the disappointment of this season won't matter any more.
  13. Nice. I've always had a thing for BA Ten Fidy, even with all the various local BA bottles I have. I tried finding some around Christmas, but no dice.
  14. Exactly. I'm over putting any stock into the long range right now, whether it looks good, bad, or indifferent. It's simply not worth it. I've almost completely tuned out by this point.
  15. I think you're either misinterpreting what you're seeing on the run or you're getting mixed up regarding the term "Miller B."
  16. On this board, delayed = denied. So I guess that's good news for you!
  17. Think I had a trace yesterday because it probably sleeted. Adds to one other day of a trace of white rain for the season. <shrug>
  18. That's why I refuse to attempt to interpret his posts. No offense to him, but unless I can comprehend the meaning of the words on the screen within a few seconds, I just shuffle on by.
  19. I love that song (big Dylan fan). Really nice version. And the rain sentiment really hits home.
  20. Didn't see this post until Watcher quoted it above. If you (or anyone else reading this) feel like you need counseling/therapy, then please, please, please do it. We're all screwed up in some ways, but the screwiness affects some more - and in different ways - than others. Kind of like we've all got some sort of physical ailments, but certain ones have more obvious and/or debilitating effects on us than do others. Health care is health care, whether it be mental or physical, and we all should be supportive of those who need and want to take care of themselves.
  21. No thanks. lol I'm among the many in the sub who haven't even had a mulch topper this season. Once the late-December looks ended up without "on-the-ground success," I kind of bagged it by lowering my expectations almost completely. I usually don't go that route, but I just wanted to protect myself from further disappointment because for some reason that December fail really got to me. But failing isn't really getting me down at this point. We're almost into February, which is when I start putting my thoughts into all the good stuff happening in the spring and summer (gardening, fishing, maybe some golf, swim team, etc.). And then once we actually get there, the crap winter is just a memory. ETA: Figured this was better in banter than crapping up everyone's glory in the other thread.
  22. Yup. Constant negativity is a real downer during a time of year when people are sick, the days are short, there's a relative lack of available outdoor activities, etc. I'm honestly not even a particularly positive person (lol), but when it comes to weather discussion, I need to be able to see or hear about the potential silver lining rather than just being told that the cloud is taking up the whole horizon and bearing down on me.
