  1. Picked up 0” of snow overnight. Congrats, Binghamton?
  2. Raining in Burke. Dang...just a little coating to end the day would be nice.
  3. Ah sh*t, man, I’m so incredibly sorry. They’re such an integral part of our families...to lose them suddenly is so hard.
  4. And now that I’m home in Burke it’s 33 and rain, too...though the trees and shrubs are definitely icy and there’s a whole lot more slush on the ground.
  5. Drove to Other Half brewing in Northeast DC to pick up an order. 33 and driving rain.
  6. True. But I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited a out the prospect of my kids playing in the snow than I was for today. My wife made sure that they got out while the gettin’ was good. She’s a keeper!
  7. Yeah...it’s cool and all, but it’s so goddamn depressing. Let us just enjoy what’s falling and pretend that we don’t know that the flip is exactly 9.23 miles away. F off with that noise.
  8. Hey everyone...I heard the correlation coefficient radar is showing the mix line creeping up on most everyone. Congrats!!
  9. It’s nearing time for the woods-dwellers to be the lone positive posters in the thread.
  10. Your location is so iffy for this one - it sucks. I’m watching the snow in DC and expecting that home will flip within 30 minutes of when it flips here. I just hate that seeing CC will kill that feeling of elation at snow coming down because you know precisely when it’ll stop. I get that people think it’s neat, but for those on whose doorstep the flip is awaiting it’s not so cool.
  11. Correlation coefficient radar is the biggest f’ing buzzkill.
  12. Surprisingly decent snow in downtown DC right now.
  13. @Deck Pic By the time I got downstairs it was icy pixie dust. I can see some flakes out the window still, though.
  14. I see snow falling out the 10th floor window in the Penn Quarter area. I should head downstairs and take it in before it turns to rain.
  15. @medmax...it was a bit of an inside joke. My kind take? South Central PA isn’t part of this forum and the majority of people here won’t see a significant storm. I’d wager that many of those people don’t care to hear about how much of a “pummeling” the mountain dwellers in the Blue Ridge receive, let along folks outside of our forum.
  16. Should be great to go into the office in DC tomorrow. Everyone will probably be teleworking and I’ll be up on the 10th floor watching the cold rain fall to the ground as cold rain.
  17. So...I guess we’re not guaranteed to go warm after the 20th and we don’t look to be losing the block? (sorry, frd...had to do it!)
