I’m guarded against being interested, but my outer weenie wants it so bad. I think it’s possible - we’ve shown it before - but I’d absolutely prefer a small overrunning 2-4” event than trying to get this thing to work. Woke up this morning to some fresh snow on the cars and on too of the icepack on the ground. Pleasantly surprised. Didn't measure, but I’ll eyeball it to 0.25” since I usually measure in 1/4” increments and this was more than a simple T.

I was (of course) salty as people reported getting smacked with intense rates and big winds. I don’t have my notes on that, but I don’t think we got more than 1” out of it (maybe less than that).

I agree. I don’t think we get skunked that bad this year, but it does burn a little to see folks not far away get off to a flying start. I had to drop my relative misery in there for all to see. Yeah...the kids did have fun in what fell. I always have to remind myself that kids just revel in what’s in front of them - they don’t care about models or correlation coefficient or any of that. Just pure, unadulterated fun. It really is great when you see kids enjoying themselves right now. We’re lucky in that we have a “pod” of families with kids around the same age as ours who have been playing together for months now, and (knock on wood) we’ve been OK to this point. But there’s just something so special about kids playing in the snow...

True. But I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited a out the prospect of my kids playing in the snow than I was for today. My wife made sure that they got out while the gettin’ was good. She’s a keeper!
