  1. Gotta be able to claim on-time departure.
  2. Didn’t feel that hot, to be honest.
  3. Why would that be incredible? It makes sense.
  4. Cool stuff. Down in Hilton Head, the area of the island where we stay sees average tide changes of 6.5' or so. Some neap tides can see a little less than 5' differences, but the highest of spring tides can have upwards of 9' difference. It's really interesting to see just how much the landscape changes due to those huge swings, even if it is frustrating as hell for a fisherman like me who's stuck on a kayak or just fishing off the beach into a raging salt creek.
  5. Actually, I've never seen an explanation like this, and that was an awesome way of putting it, George. Even I could pretty much understand it.
  6. They just didn't want NPZ's b*tching or EJ's meh-ing to clog up their router.
  7. Yes, a couple very light showers. Don’t try so hard, yoda!
  8. Good thing it means nothing for our backyards.
  9. Thanks. I knew I could count on you! lol
  10. I have absolutely no idea what this means. Anyone want to help?
  11. Probably raining at least as much as it is here.
  12. Knew this would happen, but it still sucks.
  13. Pretty exciting evening in Fairfax County. Maybe we'll wake up to some watered lawns and wet streets.
  14. Just yanking your chain. But man...a look at the radar would have told you everything you needed to know about last night.
  15. I have to admit...I’m not particularly excited a out the prospect of my little slice of Burke, VA getting fringed out of this.
  16. I always feel uncomfortable when not getting on the board early, but I’m not overly concerned right now. But I reserve the right to moan incessantly when I’ve only been fringed by about 7:00 this evening.
  17. I use RadarScope, as well, but I have no idea how to use most of the options/outputs on it. One thing I don’t like is the lack of a composite national radar, but for being able to view your local radar, it’s pretty great.
  18. What’s supposed to be moving SE? Not seeing anything with that trajectory aside from outflow.
  19. At least you’re on your way to something more than 0.0”. <shrug>
  20. Nice of that storm to fizzle right over us this evening and let another develop 10 miles to the north.
  21. Kind of how I feel. I mean...it’s hot, but not crazy. I’m sure it’ll be death tomorrow, or we’ll spike on a west wind at like 5:15 this afternoon, but for now I’m not all that worked up over it.
  22. I hope things cloud up and we bust low. Take that, suckers!!
