  1. @Deck Pic By the time I got downstairs it was icy pixie dust. I can see some flakes out the window still, though.
  2. I see snow falling out the 10th floor window in the Penn Quarter area. I should head downstairs and take it in before it turns to rain.
  3. @medmax...it was a bit of an inside joke. My kind take? South Central PA isn’t part of this forum and the majority of people here won’t see a significant storm. I’d wager that many of those people don’t care to hear about how much of a “pummeling” the mountain dwellers in the Blue Ridge receive, let along folks outside of our forum.
  4. Should be great to go into the office in DC tomorrow. Everyone will probably be teleworking and I’ll be up on the 10th floor watching the cold rain fall to the ground as cold rain.
  5. So...I guess we’re not guaranteed to go warm after the 20th and we don’t look to be losing the block? (sorry, frd...had to do it!)
  6. How f**king annoying to have a low off of Jacksonville that’s going to give us rain. F that.
  7. Sweet look on the 18z GFS! Didn’t give me any more snow, but it sure as hell have me more rain!
  8. Oh to be back in Lewisburg, PA for this one...
  9. Ellinwood is going to have to revisit that map of his and include lots of folks in his lovely grey area. Welcome to the cub, everyone!
  10. When your neighbor get's 0.2" then yeah...that's pretty bad.
  11. South Central PA flopped the nut straight.
  12. Puddles like friends. Their friends are coming tomorrow.
  13. You’re tired because you’re old.
  14. Anyone else see the username and immediately think this?
  15. GFS sets up a heck of a block right around Christmas.
  16. You said the NAM is a disaster and then proceeded to analyze it. Why? What good does it do to provide any sort of real analysis on a run of a model that sucks at range? My response was in jest, but with a bit of a dig for the analysis you provided without qualifying it at all by saying it's just the NAM and is among the least likely of solutions to play out. A little bit of a snarky response, but more in jest, as noted above. I appreciate the input of a pro as much as anyone, but I can't help but feel that an analysis of the NAM at range by a pro was a *wee bit* of a bad faith post.
