    Exactly! ‘96 was crazy, but it seems like virtually every storm growing up was marginal, and that the Lehigh Valley got crushed all the freaking time! My sledding hill was one of the off-ramps of the Betsy Ross Bridge. What an absolute blast that was, regardless of whether we flipped to mix/rain or not! I went to CCHS, but knew plenty of folks from Voorhees!

    We used to despise the term “...more north and west” when I was a kid. We flipped to mix a *lot* and always felt that we were on the outside looking in.

    You took my post a little too seriously. Like you, I grew up in South Jersey, so I’m very well aware of the climo up there.

    Agreed. I’m from South Jersey and will identify as such for the rest of my life. I always compare the neighborhood I now live in with a few towns hear where I grew up - the similarities are obvious. Suburbs are often very similar in the nearer-coastal regions between VA and NY, with the dates of build playing an especially important role in how they look and feel.

    Personal opinion...gotta be PA/NJ and north to be in the Northeast. Northern Delaware works, too. Not a perfect match, and maybe it’s more cultural than meteorological Northeastern-ness up there.

    Pounded freezing mist all night, so the sleet was concrete this morning. Car was completely coated and our side streets were a pretty decent mess. Secondary roads were fine.

    I hear ya - I do exactly the same. I don’t really look a ton like Dylan, but I’d like to think that being viewed as a young version of him is a good thing!
