    NAM cut totals a bit around Boone. Seems like it’s going to a pretty sharp cutoff between accumulating snow and nothing but a few flurries .

    Definitely good to see. If I remember correctly from my time living in the high country I believe the NAM typically handles flow events the best correct? .

    Good trends on the NAM. Upping totals for everyone and some 6+ inch totals on the border. .

    Yeah I'm kicking myself for getting a cabin in Boone this weekend and not somewhere like Beech but nothing I can do now. Any way will probably drive over to Banner Elk and maybe up to Beech Friday evening.

    Will be in Boone this weekend. Appears Boone might be a bit too far east for anything substantial but hopeful for an inch or two. Those that are along the border should be in great shape though! .

    Good run on the Euro. Widespread 6+ throughout the mtns. Latest HRRR is concerning but that has been the only run this morning showing that much of a dryslot

    Someone is definitely going to get shafted. I was thinking that the east facing slopes would have less moisture in this setup but it seems like areas further west have lower totals taking the 00z models verbatim.

    I am chasing to Boone and I'm getting concerned with the runs on the 00z with the lack of moisture on the front end for our area.

    Really close to something big. Need that CAD to trend stronger. Huge run for the MA up I-81
