  1. Had steady breeze here most of the day on the hill with overcast and even spit a few rain drops at times...did catch some breaks of sun a little while ago during dinner. Never sniffed 80F. Peaked at 76F. Nothing remotely hot/Sweltry about today. We take.
  2. 73F here and still cloudy....not warm enough to make it a sweaty day. The mugginess actually feels fine when there's no sun with temps in the low 70s.
  3. This is awesome....only 72F and overcast. A little muggy, but at this temp with no sun, it's totally manageable. Went for a walk with the fam before a work meeting a while ago and it felt nice. Never broke a sweat.
  4. Summer is cancelled through D10-12 on EPS. Maybe we get heat again if D13-15 are to be trusted.
  5. I was surprised at the 6/10/08 number. That’s big for up there that early. I remember that day...had a macroburst come through ORH late evening around 9-10pm. Gusted to about 70mph.
  6. MVL hit 97F on 7/10/88. More recently, they hit 95F on 6/10/08 and 94F on 7/21/11.
  7. Yeah that breaks their all time record of 92F....though their period of record only started in 1998. Still impressive though considering the date.
  8. See my response to dendrite on that one:
  9. He might be thinking of the afternoon high....we mentioned 1992 years back and joked how BOS had a cheap midnight high and that the post-18z high was 57F.
  10. That is stupid cold on the Euro for Monday morning....gonna have to see if we set all time June records at 850mb for CAR/GYX/CHH. GYX will be the toughest because they have almost the same record as CAR at -6C. But Euro gets them really close.
  11. Looks like the STEM went back down to 78....tough break for those down there who love big heat vs NNE peeps who are setting records.
  12. 94F at IZG and 75F at DCA.....lol
  13. Yeah or 7/4/78.....both highs in the 50s and rain most of the day.
  14. 79/62 here....def getting the marine influence of the southerly flow. Feels summery, but not obscene like NNE.
  15. The 1816 prediction finally comes true this year. Kevin refusing to uninstall as icicles hang from the window unit in September and Scooter throwing more furniture in his basement as we get a 2009 June redux and then a repeat of 7/4/92.
  16. Summer ends before 6/1 this year?
  17. Just had flakes less than 3 weeks ago. Amazing we might get them again in less than 5 months.
  18. Hi of 83.5F here. Felt like summer finally today. Nothing earth shattering though like NNE.
  19. Yes, it's why you never look at PWS dewpoints when trying to forecast for severe wx or something. Also, a lot of those "comfort" charts that were created back in the day were based on airport obs dewpoints. So when they said "anything above 65F is very uncomfortable", it really means airport dews going above 65F. I've often seen 61F at airports while its near 70F dewpoints at a lot of the PWSs.
  20. Kevin has officially given us permission to toss BDL temps for the summer....we're making a breakthrough folks!!!
  21. Euro very well might be overdone, but cranky is delusional if he thinks 70s would happen when 850 temps are -2C to -4C. IF GFS verifies with 850 temps closer to +4, you might tickle 70F in the worst torch downslope spots....and even that would be a sfc-850 lapse rate of like 11.5C/KM so you'd really need to avoid self destructing sun.
  22. Yeah I stole Kevin’s lunch money on that bet.
  23. 61/35 here. Feels like October except the sun angle is much higher. With the high sun angle, it feels pretty warm in the sun when the wind is light.
  24. You’ll love the day 8 euro...nothing like sub-540 thicknesses on 6/1
