Decent chance you get it. I’d expect a compromise between euro and GFS.

Just catching up on euro and 06z guidance. Definite overall tick east…though it was good to see 06z GFS tick west. Hopefully that means we’re narrowing the goalposts a bit more. Some of the banding sigs are incredible with this system. There are going to be 3-4” per hour bands in this if it looks like that at go-time.

Wow just saw the GGEM. Nice solution for a huge chunk of the board. Would be fun to get one that doesn’t have too many screw zones. Feels like everyone could use that this winter.

It’s still closing it off down south but it’s not capturing it quite as fast I don’t think. The capture would prob be a little bit further northeast of the 12z run but not too far off.

You weren’t piled on for calling him terrible met. He’s called a terrible met like 10x per day on here.

Yeah I feel pretty comfortable tossing the 18z GEFS. Just a huge outlier.

The GEFS were over the benchmark like 4 days before that BGM inland runner on 1/17 while all that other guidance was way west.

I’m pretty sure the run I linked further back had 5” of QPF in E MA for Feb ‘13. The ratio clown maps had some 60-70” totals. Lol

Yeah my guess is it’s a burp. That’s just such a big continuity break to steal Tip’s description of yesterday’s 18z GFS.

That is a lot worse than the 12z GEFS. Kind of hard to buy that though.

Yeah it didn’t hook left as much into gulf of maine. It was kind of discombobulated in capturing the low and closing off H5.

Western ridge was flatter than the Euro which makes a difference. The GFS also has significantly lower heights over Quebec than the Euro. But that was still a good trend,.

This should be pretty big. thought he western ridge is not as amped as the Euro, so we probably aren't getting a Euro solution.....but the southern stream is actually more incorporated than the Euro.

Lol gotta love it when the two don’t even have the same trend. Deutschmark went east again. No trends at 18z so far.

RGEM is dragging the southern stream compared to 12z....so the NAM didn't start a new trend for all 18z guidance.

There will be a run or two that sends the dryslot into interior CNE and jackpots Plattsburgh, NY that will cause a bunch of meltdowns until an hour later when none of the other models follow it.
