  1. winter. crave it like crack all year but when it's bad, bail?
  2. Next Week: Fairly quiet period of weather into mid week as mid-level ridging build into the northeast along with a surface high pressure system. No notable weather features across the northeast, while the southern jet keeps things active across the southeastern USA, as my cohort said, fairly typical for an EL NINO winter. Temperatures next week are seasonably cool in the mid to upper 30s, lows in the teens and 20s. No mention of sunshine in any portions of the BOX disc.. wow
  3. I know it sucked for a good portion of folks, but January was an okay winter month locally. weenie eyes it'd be graded a B
  4. Yeah was in Holliston /Ashland today, decent pack above like 300-500' with trees still caked, maybe 2.5-3". below that looked rough
  5. January is OVER!!!! We can get decent/borderline severe storms in March/April occasionally, so we're just a month or two away from convective season! Let's gooo
  6. Plenty of chances for snow ahead, hopefully we can sneak in a few nice days too.
  7. 25.8, one of the colder evening temps of the season. Definitely winter vibes
  8. Almost go-time! Severe season means heat season, too!! Double win
  9. 6z gfs had a string of pounding sun days, Feb 4th -8th? roughly. Poundtown
  10. Yeah we know winter is usually dark and dreary, and that's one of the reasons for ++'s the past few months. Hopefully we soon see a few sunny days thrown in, and since it won't melt away those with snow pack, this cannot be construed as trolling.
  11. Tthe sun angle in mid-late Feb (next shot at any decent snows) does nothing to snow pack. Lol deluded irony
  12. still not a cold look, especially as we head later into February.
  13. I think there will be a few more shots, just not sure how well your area especially will make of it. Obviously it's peak snow climo for the next few weeks, but without any meaningful arctic cold lurking in Canada it's difficult to get much snow with any given system. (outside of interior elevations obviously) 2m and 850 <3
