18z gfs looked mild/seasonable D8-14 for SNE. no impressive cold shown at all, just a few warm days then cool downs. Sort of like our Decembers are now...50's 60's , then a cool down to 30's 40's. nbd

no way I'm trading 70F weather for a blizzard, but if it's going to be crappy and cold in March, I'd hit a blizzard.

Sure if it's serious with lots of wind damage, coastal flooding, and crippling snows. but the closest I've ever seen in March (iirc) is 1993 and that one kinda sucked where I was.

my grandfather started playing at 50ish and was 4-5 handicap by 65. He was really really good only hit 200-250 but very straight, and his chip/pw/sw were above avg.

when I was 35? or so, I was hitting drives over 300 yards in air. lol At least 3/10. Never could play under 80 ish regularly though, even in my HS/college days it was generally 8-12 handicap
