Saturday looks like a banger for NNE after all..
Cold front approaching from the north will set the stage for
severe thunderstorms on Saturday. Strong and increasing
uni-directional shear will make wind damage the biggest threat
with these storms. Starting the day with 700 mb temps of +12c so
large hail not looking unlikely. Heat advisories will be likely as
temperatures soar through the 90s to near 100 in southern New
Hampshire. Dangerous apparent temperatures in southern New
Hampshire will range between 110 and 115 degrees as dew points
top out in the mid 70s. Remainder of the area will see highs
from the mid 80s to mid 90s.
