A more substantial band of showers extends through Central NY
and PA. These trend to Western MA/CT around 10 PM and Eastern MA
around 1 AM. Lightning observations showed strikes in North
Central PA and South Central PA at 6:10 PM. This is a sign that
the environment with these showers is capable of generating
isolated lightning.
Bang bang
It is not a bad day, perhaps the lack of sun may be the cause of your depressed mood. Hopeful tomorrows Rx wx will aid you during this rough patch you are having.
What we want is a strong low to cut extremely far west..then hopefully Midwest/central conus trough carves out, allowing for a stalled firehose of higher pwats and parade of waves running along it to train us.
Glad to see the F word is being thrown around.
It is not a matter of if, but when, severity and duration. If it cannot be 75 and bright sun, hopefully we can muster a sig cutoff event to maximize upslope rains for several days over the mtns.
