    My dad was an army officer the time, got the call... the pictures of him on the front end loaders and the snow were ridiculous.

    Yeah, many of us drummers had been wondering why Lifeson and Rush called it quits so suddenly. Surely, superhuman NP wouldn't let a little arthritis get in the way. That is just like Neil Peart, though. Very sad.

    I know NP claimed to have arthritis issues, similar to Phil Collins for ex., but you have to wonder if he had been battling cancer for a while too. He was a very private person, not sure he'd put that out there. Great drummer and musician. RIP

    Everything about this winter has been really good. Burning through 1.5 months of early-midwinter mild and nearly snowless, thunderstorm outbreaks. late Jan and Feb it snows itself out for a few weeks before we blaze into sun angle and baseball talk. No one can complain
