  1. It was a comparison, to inland winds between each storm. Wow
  2. We had 40-60mph gusts and damage in 91 and I was inland. In fact we had two trees down.
  3. wind is really roaring out there, gusting to 15
  4. As we all have been thinking, this looks to be barely a storm for 90% of NE. A few periods of rain showers and a light wind, and that's all. Final.
  5. There may be a few weakened limbs down, and recycle bins tossed around in the interior. Hopefully there is/are no property damage or injuries.
  6. Should be fun for ACK/MVY. If you like cold wind driven rain
  7. 3. Recent satellite wind data indicate that a small area of low pressure has formed in association with an area of disturbed weather located a few hundred miles southeast of Charleston, South Carolina. The system is producing winds to near tropical storm strength and the associated thunderstorm activity has recently shown some signs of organization. Although upper-level winds, are not particularly favorable for additional development, only a small increase in organization could result in the formation of a tropical depression or storm later today or tonight. On Wednesday, the system is forecast to merge with the low off the east coast of the United States, and further development is not anticipated after that
  8. What a crushing. Even has 4-6" back here
  9. It's mostly ponding of water and street flooding, it does flood on the Cape though. I lived it. A quick 2" of rain and my mother's street is under 1' of water
  10. Most of CT was never really in the game to begin with. Save far S and E areas
  11. it seems like nothing has changed much since Sunday; decent hit cape cod/extreme south coast, ordinary nor'easter portions of SNE, not much elsewhere.
  12. You know it's a crap event when the thread falls apart into dumb-dumb sports banter. :/
  13. Will need battery operated radios or generators out near Harwich
  14. Yeah, it's coming. I tried to wishcast it away but to no avail. 40-80 mph winds, 8-16" of rain incoming. It sucks but we'll just have to struggle through.
  15. Yeah, it may not be pretty but it looks much better than yesterday. Trend is our friend, though, that is my point...a few more ticks on that gfs and it's partly sunny and 60
