  1. this is going to be awesome. I want a HI of at least 110
  2. I wonder if during the cold season, the coc shrivels up and we end up with a smaller size
  3. Yeah, I suppose coc k ranges are relative. If it is 95/76 for three days then a warm down to 83/67, that is the new coc k size
  4. Yeah, talked about this last week/two weeks. Derecho? More likely sw of NE. However most of NE should have a shot at some more severe wx whether it is mcs related or forcing from prefrontal trough or cfp. I think the better shot of mcs would be NY PA maybe WNE
  5. No doubt about it. Each and all will remember this very special summer.
  6. That is a nice little right-mover by Holliston/Medway 495
  7. The back of mid-summer will soon be broken and we are left with distant memories as we head into Ughust and Septorchber
  8. Yeah, very cool and dry with a few less-cool days mixed in
  9. It's a new climate regime. You upgrade and the wx changes
  10. What a summer. You know when politics are dragged in it's probably +2 or higher departures
  11. Saturday looks like a banger for NNE after all.. Cold front approaching from the north will set the stage for severe thunderstorms on Saturday. Strong and increasing uni-directional shear will make wind damage the biggest threat with these storms. Starting the day with 700 mb temps of +12c so large hail not looking unlikely. Heat advisories will be likely as temperatures soar through the 90s to near 100 in southern New Hampshire. Dangerous apparent temperatures in southern New Hampshire will range between 110 and 115 degrees as dew points top out in the mid 70s. Remainder of the area will see highs from the mid 80s to mid 90s.
  12. it's too bad we won't derecho with this type of heat around. Last week I mentioned mcs debris mucking up big heat for some...we'll see.
