    Looks blocky and convoluted on the EC op and ens through D10 but there is no well-defined signature block where you want to see one.

    The good news is that there isn't much arctic air to deal with, maybe through much of mid-winter. That would be a major win, to escape the peak of winter without. We can all agree that snow is fine but true arctic outbreaks are not.

    Saturday... Drier air works into the region on Saturday as the system departs. However, we will mix down some of the unseasonably mild temps aloft. This should allow for an unseasonably mild start to the first weekend of 2021. High temps on Sat should climb into the 50s and it is not out of the question that a few locations across RI/SE MA flirt with 60.

    Great news going forward, keeping the optimism! After January 20th it is late-winter and the sun angle really takes over, so let's hope for a repeat of last year and slide right into Spring snow-free.
