  1. 6/1. I hit 91F that day, in SNH at ~'500
  2. It was 85 to mid 90's, even in SWNH where there was like baseball size hail. 3k joules cape and ~90F there.
  3. This is run-of-the-mill severe. A decent day by our standards. We enjoy
  4. I thought the models generally had two spikes in cape and li. At least the soundings I posted last night. Still had 1337 cape @ 0z HFD lol which is ample for svr and even tors. Also consider the nocturnal llj getting going, it was game on.
  5. Threat is there, still. Low but there. I'd hang onto it
  6. Best storm of the summer easy. Cg's just dancing around within a 1/4 mile radius,at least 10 in 5 minutes
  7. Works every time, it's raining and thundering again. I think the cells around are reaching maturity
  8. Looks like we're cooked here in Billerica. No thunder at all in the past 10 minutes, just a few light rain showers coming through.
  9. Thunder to the SW between 128 and 495 now too.
  10. Crushed just 8-10mi. from here. Constant thunder now, loud bangs too.
  11. Alex 2004. Yeah that's a giant eye and CDO, "annular"
  12. ...New England into the northern Mid-Atlantic... While the vertical ascent and enhanced flow aloft with the shortwave described in the synopsis will remain predominantly north of the region, a low-amplitude, lead shortwave trough (currently moving through the OH Valley) is expected to move into New England this afternoon. Warm and unstable air mass will be in place ahead of this shortwave, and the expectation is for multiple bands of convection to move across the region this afternoon. Some modest strengthening of the low-level flow (i.e. around 30-35 kt at 850 mb) is anticipated ahead of this shortwave trough, lengthening hodographs and contributing to 0-1 km SRH around 100-150 m2/s2. Overall, wind profiles support occasional supercell structures within predominantly linear multicells. Primary severe threat will be damaging wind gusts but isolated hail and a tornado or two are also possible.
  13. It's okay to get excited about and even crave damage, but not okay to target particular areas, specific groups or individuals.
