I don't want to correlate northern mountain sub-climate with SNE populations, you could be right. In fact I'm going with a decent winter for NNE resorts.

Maybe, but what I am saying is that with less convective feedback and spurious low (s) south and east, that would probably allow (in totality) baroclinicity to lie a bit west of some of these solutions.

I'm guessing that with less emphasis on the * meso lows, as time goes on, the modeled intensity and track should be weaker/west? I didn't see in-between hours on the Euro. The Ukie was relatively hi-hum with intensity and would seem to dry slots eastern, and maybe central SNE.
