  1. A- thus far, on the obvious strength of the weekend of January 60's and 70's, NNE snow recovery, and relatively snowless February in SNE. But trending towards a B with a crappy finish
  2. one could probably argue Dennis(and the succession of lows there) prolonged the pattern
  3. I think you (nyc) will get a decent snow event before April.
  4. its chaos in the SE subforum, and I feel for the SE weenies fancying that long-range NAM
  5. one of my favorite nearly forgotten storms was March 05? Flash freeze and whiteout for a few hours behind a bombing low. There was only 3-6" in ene perhaps but it fell in ~3 hours. Mini dec 05
  6. maybe this Icelandic low will be the pattern changer...heh
  7. we can watch a 1-2" flizzard shut down the state of NC, that's win
  8. hopefully a quick change to rain wherever you are headed
  9. tomorrows rain (snow there? gidlt) puts a damper on it, but one day at a time.
  10. weenies are still angry about last July's scorcher
  11. another nice day, let's keep this up right through May. Warm sun and absolutely zero snow, can't do much better than that.
  12. He is hype master.. new March analog (word of mouth, I did not read) is 1960
  13. it really didn't, jmo... unless you are relying on JB or one of these hype mets
  14. dennis's impact on a pattern change is nebulous caustation at best. We've had several very deep cyclones in that region, just last week as well.
  15. even in bad winters like this one, during the 80s and 90s, a few weeks at N conway crown ridge or village at Loon, you'd find 1-2' sometimes. There werent too many with bare ground even in bad times
  16. yeah I remember as a ten year old, thinking how deep the snow seemed.
