  1. Nothing messy here, looks amazing.
  2. I know NP claimed to have arthritis issues, similar to Phil Collins for ex., but you have to wonder if he had been battling cancer for a while too. He was a very private person, not sure he'd put that out there. Great drummer and musician. RIP
  3. Everything about this winter has been really good. Burning through 1.5 months of early-midwinter mild and nearly snowless, thunderstorm outbreaks. late Jan and Feb it snows itself out for a few weeks before we blaze into sun angle and baseball talk. No one can complain
  4. Is this part of the trend you were talking about, Orh?
  5. 0z Euro is a succession of storms cutting way, way west
  6. Expecations have increased two-fold since the mid-90's and probably more since 05. My entire childhood we had maybe three decent snowstorms, mostly 1983 which I barely recall. none blockbusters, or biggies like...03, 05, 15, 11, etc...or even 96, 97 etc.
  7. I don't disagree, it'll be interesting to see play out
  8. Verify west, you are talking that progged general trough axis? It seems like we need some blocking to get it done (better than transient)
  9. A lot of "positive" info, but not much talk of what can go wrong, which is what really matters
  10. If it snowed year round they'd be chasing rain
  11. The only sadness is when the wx likely goes back to crap in a few weeks. But that's SNE winter
  12. what an incredible stretch of wx incoming. Everything is awesome
  13. Those 60's look delicious. Seeing 70's for the Mid Atl/ VA too, perfect wx.
  14. I think we could see a few surprises. busting those #'s low seems harder to do, than high
  15. If it wasn't for SM , there's basically no skiing this winter
  16. I can't remember ski seasons ending this early, even in the 1980s and early 90s. It's crazy
  17. I do remember last summer...Chart, after chart, after chart after chart promising cool wx all July, ended up with a burning month we won't soon forget
  18. history shows you have a not-so-hidden cold bias towards everything
