  1. more importantly, which of those seasons have any usefulness in predicting this last half of winter snowfall?
  2. I want a cle '78 superbomb, that'd get this board hopping
  3. thank goodness. we'll watch the southern radars light up soon. FL does well too in weak Ninos Feb./Apr. iirc
  4. complainers ...they would never travel or relocate, too inconvenient
  5. besides the neurotic tri-staters and usual suspects who would probably complain about winning the lottery, most seem to be handling this winter in stride
  6. My dad was an army officer the time, got the call... the pictures of him on the front end loaders and the snow were ridiculous.
  7. Tanuary is toast for anything interesting aside this weekends rainer/nne snower, it's time for someone to start a Debbuary one
  8. you are in a bad "good" spot ...yeah, southern parts of NNE would start to have problems with a more N trend. But it'll all be about lift and banding. It's early to make declarations but I think it's probably a reasonable solution at this point
  9. the great news is that it's a cold, pouring rainer for RIC/DC/Balt, no one need be weenie jealous of the southerners
  10. The gem should be able to handle higher resolutions and/or more frequent cycles
  11. metfan frustrated on the NYC beat this weekend
  12. wow, that really sucks, i can't imagine that feeling. For me 19-20 is ending as perhaps the greatest winter of the century, or most likely making the top 5 barring any more sustained deep winter
  13. 4" Taunton, 12" Franklin, 18" Marlborough 495 gradient iirc. Brutal inside of I95
  14. On average....but it's unlikely this winter, at least for some areas. Wouldn't rule it out either.
  15. Being a more "Nino look" I would tend to think the system would more likely trend SW, and more flat over time. Or there is more viability in that type of solution. Just a guess
