  1. not a bad look for the end of winter, I actually agree. But obviously does not guarantee anything
  2. I prefer and want warm temps and there is nothing wrong with that ...unless you feel the need to control every little thing around you, including the message. I don't get down when it's cold and snowy (or vice-versa) and would hope others dont either, but that's their choice
  3. I am happy if it is 90 or 0. we all have wx preferences... being a popular opinion or always hyping stuff for forum likeability and standing is not in my future though.
  4. 18z gfs op has a more blocky and dare I say wintry look in la-la land. You can see the hugely ++++nao and ao start to break down and an Azores high develop. Also the east Pac and west coast isn't terrible looking.
  5. happiness of well-balanced person is not determined by a temp and dew points. I know, it is pretty shocking
  6. Right..I am near or south of that line and it isn't that bad. A couple snows away from respectable and near avg.
  7. outdoor enthusiasts, landscapers, gardening, frisbee, golf, that type of stuff. You know, things that bring peace and happiness.
  8. Near perfect look for late February. Everyone is excited
  9. 60's next week on the euro? 70's mid atlantic?
  10. looks like a solid 1" to perhaps 2" thump here. In this winter, that's a victory.
  11. Gorgeous! Sunday through Tuesday... Warmer SW flow returns late Saturday and Sunday ahead of our next shortwave, bringing much milder air back into the region. This will be reinforced even more on Monday/Tuesday ahead of a stronger approaching low pressure system for Tuesday. Highs will be back in the upper 30s and 40s each day, with potential to approach 50 degrees Monday or Tuesday depending on the speed of the incoming low. Mainly dry weather persists Sunday and Monday, though a weak cold front may allow for light scattered showers Sunday/Sunday night. Tuesday low pressure passes well to our northwest bringing rain showers back to the region.
  12. I have seen many crap winters in sne, this isn't one. Speaking for NW of Boston. Not good, but not terrible
  13. It'll be interesting to see 0z and how that Icelandic low bottoms out. 18z gfs op was ~915mb
  14. Backed by science, it is mostly CT or NJ/NY transplants. A few MA, too. Disposition of neuroticism translates to weather and with SAD and etc., probably peaks in winter https://www.google.com/amp/s/observer.com/2011/10/the-neuroses-of-new-york/amp/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost.com/2016/10/06/your-therapist-is-secretly-judging-you/amp/
  15. everyone should be in a great mood, sun and warm temps right around the corner!
  16. Cold makes you feel satisfied or happy, and that does not make me unhappy. The weird thing is it's obvious my happiness makes you (and others) miserable. I'm happy and everything looks fine. The LR models all show hope and promise. Live angry if you want. Troll away
  17. this place fell apart in my absence. Anyway, carry on if you will, changes are near
