  1. Like most, I remember the early 80's to early 90s having only a few decent events, but being so young had no reference point to how bad it was. Or maybe I'm wrong and the past 30 years aren't the norm..
  2. there will be lean times for major winter storms but honestly they are more the exception, jmo. Most of 80's were rough of course until 92-93 but yet many had a few moderate to heavier snowfalls sprinkled in. Also can say 05-6 and last winter were pretty mediocre if not bad for many, but had a major event in the mix.
  3. I'm happy as long as we see a real heavy subsidence zone. Will be monitoring the potential throughout the event and have updates
  4. I wasn't talking about you, it was probably funaway who said it. "No one is calling for 24.."
  5. Someone said there were no 12-24" calls, i pointed them to yours. And I'm the bad guy...
  6. When DT was drunk posting last week, it reminded me we used to voice chat in the late 90's starting near hurricane Floyd and its hairpin north turn
  7. Yeah, it's pretty much over for many folks. At least CNE cashes in, they deserve it
  8. Subsidence zone really going to knock back totals locally. It's a shame but what can you do?
  9. Yeah I feel okay with a 6-10" lighter storm being easily doable for us, at least as of now. Someone is going to get a nice snowstorm and ratios should be decent, I just think it'll be a fairly narrow zone or two that jacks.
  10. I am busting your balls, no doubt...but ngl, for a first call with so much time and data ahead, was at least a little .
