mid-winter is kaput in a couple weeks and the sun angle really rips after Jan 25th or so. Hopefully like last winter where the locked up "great pattern" never materialized. Great vibes all-around today
Thankfully, any nasty slush from earlier will be gone quickly.
Areas of fog and drizzle will dry
up by late morning and some partial sunshine is forecast for mid
to late afternoon. Highs today will be in the 40s, with lower
50s in southeast MA.
The good news is that there isn't much arctic air to deal with, maybe through much of mid-winter. That would be a major win, to escape the peak of winter without. We can all agree that snow is fine but true arctic outbreaks are not.
