  1. As long as it's not this part, we good
  2. Yeah, no real signals for a "big 'un" besides that D11 ? but it'll probably modulate into something different next few runs. I hate the cold but enjoy the sun so thankfully it's coming back!
  3. it's actually a decent winter. Not to sound old
  4. Oh, I was talking about snowfall. Say Ashburnham, MA. 1200' ELE. Do you believe they'll see >50" or <50" of snow this February?
  5. 50" February in? out? Of course that's impossible in Methuen. for Ineedsnow? 50"+ February??
  6. what a peak winter! Too bad there's not much natural snow, aside fake upslope. But ski areas area bangin guns
  7. or at least 95-96 the infamous cut, but there have been others
  8. because there was no MasSiVe CuTTeR to wipe out 24-48" packs, is this a better winter than those 90's biggies?
  9. TBH some of my favorite winter memories were skiing Cannon in the 80's. Of course the wind is usually up at the summit, even on more subdued days. Snowmaking was rather primitive then and they're trying to blow snow near Avalanche, but it's blowing wayyy over Paulies folly and evaporating/gone into the air. Maybe some trees were caked
  10. Slide down this if you want robust
  11. We just don't know know about the D11-12 system. Maybe it'll be a big 'un? what we DO know is it's well into February by then and also sun angle season/ issues; that we know.
  12. Yeah we're all hoping for 85/91 type outcomes, if not 38 etc.
  13. Yeah it was a decent storm, tssn and all. Even by my standards. But if I ever travel to Florida it isn't for winter lol
  14. down there, sure. pedestrian event here
  15. Any idea the return time on this event?
  16. at least we share an absolutely shit disaster winter with Anchorage AK
  17. they'll see a few snowers from time to time. every 5-10 years it seems I often spent time in SE TX/LA back in the day but didn't see snow.
