  1. You can see the pollen front on visible. lol
  2. yeah, pretty good pollen squall came through. 71.3
  3. Yeah I guess. That day was very interesting, with fairly widespread severe thunderstorms. convection aligned on a coastal boundary/front in E/SE MA from 1-2pm (495/I-95 norfolk, bristol), cells moving mostly N to S but backing westward into southern orh/RI by 3-4pm and farther into central CT by evening.
  4. 6/20/95 was a bit backdoory, not sure if it qualifies http://www.meteo.psu.edu/fxg1/NARR/1995/us0620.php
  5. Wednesday looks interesting for far SW areas but especially PA/NJ
  6. light storm here, thunder mostly north and southeast
  7. Windy out there, lots of pollen and debris flying.
  8. Looks like some showers/storms generally after 6-8pm or so. BOX mentioned convection headed that way this evening, we'll see.
  9. Summer! Most sunshine in the afternoon will be in the interior where 925 mb temps 18-20C. Expect highs reaching into the lower 80s in NE MA and portions of CT valley with some mid 80s possible across interior MA if enough sunshine. Breezy southerly flow and more cloud cover will result in highs cooling to mid 70s in RI and SE MA and upper 60s along the immediate south coast. It will feel increasingly humid as dewpoints rise into the 60s. Modest low level jet will lead to a breezy day with S/SW gusts to 20-30 mph at times.
  10. I didn't say it was correct. Euro and GEM were pretty ugly besides Memorial day (Tuesday was also hot on the Euro though).
  11. Furnace on the 06z gfs next week starting Monday! Four day torcher!
  12. Yeah it's all moot being outside of D3. 12z Euro pressure pattern would suggest/agree with the GEM and GFS anyway
  13. Hopefully the wind direction cooperates and we can roast right to the coastline
  14. Models seem to be hinting at over-the-top mcs activity Monday night. Hope that holds
  15. Meh for now but if we run the next few weeks dry, we're in trouble
  16. Euro looked very warm and dry, < 1" of rain the next 10 days for most.
  17. Take the over in special summers like these. Looks torchy!
