fwiw 2014-15 Maine The meteorological winter ended with a total of 91.2 inches ofsnow at Bangor, which was the 2nd most on record. At Caribou atotal of 79.5 inches was observed, which ranked as the 23rdsnowiest on record. The average temperature at Bangor of 16.8degrees ranked as the 11th coldest on record, and the averagetemperature of 11.5 degrees at Caribou ranked as the 21st coldeston record.

Yeah if you love a condensed winter with a horrid December, it was basically as good as we'll ever see.

Yeah, wasn't a great winter. great six weeks, yes. You can't lose half of met winter basically snowless and call it great.

most of December and 1/2 of January gone, basically snowless here. No way you can salvage a "great" winter in retrospect

that EPS snow map looks pretty bad for the SNE crew, worthless or not. 9 or 10 of those are snowless in SNE, and almost all are snowless in SE NE

Well yeah, at least the "winter" aspect. It's not necessarily a "winter" thread, just January thread. It's usually wintry but not guaranteed.

Winds have been calm for the past 20 minutes, ramping up slightly. Missed the wx here at home and don't have a wind instrument connected to my VP2, but it looks like nothing happened (compared to the south shore).
