    Oh yeah that could be bad for outcomes, if the lead s/w doesn't kick out quickly, or is more amped and more influence? I think it's 'gon miss here, just pointing out some things about the 18z gfs.

    gfs trended quite a bit PAC NW/AK the past several runs, much more consolidated low over AK versus a multi-vortex thing. Also the low over the lakes (actually WI) is closed off 18z which hadn't occurred in any previous runs.

    modern times yes, but 1635 is generally thought of as the strongest TC and probably close to a 4. *edit* oops someone else jumped on that
