  1. 12z gfs has temps near 100 next Friday, possible storms too.
  2. Yeah, I was just saying that timing-wise, generally the metro BOS area to TAN you want an early show for Central MA/CT then slide east during peak heating 495 through Boston. Otherwise (unless yes, strong forcing /better lapse rates/shear etc....) and so on were the case.
  3. 79.1/71 hoping for a light, dying elevated banger a bit later I suppose.
  4. Well almost always a better shot west of 128, and especially near 495 and beyond. the "early days" where stuff gets going at 1pm across ORH then crosses E MA mid-pm is your best bet.
  5. Really? Most of last night's mesos weakened everything beyond 0z. I haven't looked at anything today though.
  6. I usually don't start looking seriously until August/"Ughust" 1st. But yeah, love tracking TC.
  7. 18z gfs isn't too next week. There's actually a few shots at legit severe Thu/night? and Saturday.
  8. Some high late-season numbers in the past 25 years in Boston. all either tied or highest temps for their respective years. 98 August 29, 2018 96 September 08, 2015 93 September 02, 2014 95 August 18, 2009 96 August 25, 2007 93 August 22, 2003 101 August 14, 2002
  9. Ever see Mission of Burma? I got to hang with guitarist Roger Miller a few times about 15 years ago when my band rehearsed at the Sound Museum in Brighton MA. He actually listened to our demos and albums and gave us advice, really good dude and a legend
  10. Modern radio country music today, is really pop/rock with a hillbilly twang. Of course that started with 70's Waylon Jennings, BW Stevenson, or early 80s Alabama (huge crossover, equal soft rock/country) but they were at least rooted in pure country.
