  1. last Decembers killer cutter #1 I was on the south shore Duxbury/Pembroke. The best winds mixed winds when the sun was poking through, and it was indeed very impressive with gusts over 65. The fine line/actual cfp was very unimpressive
  2. We all want the killer, amped-up screamer way west. jmo it's a middle ground deal with typical CAD, hopefully SE zones scream
  3. Psst it's a FALSE FRONT. I am gassing folks up for a disappointment. Don't tell anyone
  4. we don't know the outcomes. a lot can change between now and then, we'll see what actually happens.
  5. Cold/snow Christmas, just in time for the holidays. We take.
  6. when the beer buzz is gone with an atmospheric river setup on the horizon, we'll see
  7. The past few winters have been relatively bad but NE as a whole has seen (at least) three major nor'easters/blizzards in the past several years. It's all-or-nothing, whereas the 1980's were more consistently poor with more nuisance/mid tier/flip to ice rainers
  8. Bust 495 littleton/harvard. 1" above 400' but not much below that
  9. Very light snow with a sloppy 1/2" or so. Hopefully gone in a few hours
  10. oh yeah I don't expect that type of ridging but given the past couple winters, wouldn't rule out something extreme too. GGEM looks to be heading gfs direction by D10 so there's that
  11. that ridge must be close to record-breaking? 585 dm up through CNE. wow wow wow
  12. There was/still is? so much great music on TWC. Mostly jazz but they occasionally had other stuff. this is my personal fav, never knew until I got old that was Zappa graduate Patrick O"Hearn's song or about downhill racing, but the music conveyed it.
  13. I don't think your 80's perception is entirely accurate. Yeah there were some stinkers but two good ones, and maybe two? average/ok
