  1. I was talking fantasy, surely that's never happened and won't in our lifetime. SST's etc. Yet would LOVE to see a catastrophicane ripped into San Diego
  2. Good, I was thinking earlier....wish we could get a full phase and rip a cane into S CA. Tough to even get remnant rains above Tijuana
  3. Yeah that sounds like a great trip, would love to see Hungary and Poland too someday. I'd bet the wx is better there than here.
  4. Been to Austria, it's amazing. You won't want to leave
  5. Fridays cfp slowed down on models a bit, could be interesting.
  6. Yeah not going to happen. Looks seasonable going forward Though I'd rather get the cold/rain out of the way now, and have a mild/dry Dec-Feb. Let's rip the band-aid off and get some very very early freezes!! And love these lows popping offshore and keeping us NE flow.in August, it's one less to deal with in January!
  7. At the moment, **and certainly good news**, is that forecast instability values are too paltry to support a risk for severe weather; given rather strong flow fields, severe weather potential would then be increased if greater instability values can materialize, though it would seem this would have to be through more sunshine/warmer temps. Ugh
  8. No big heat, no severe, no tropical. Rough time of year unless you're
  9. Yeah I wouldn't expect much besides a few showers. Doesn't look wild
  10. 8/10/00 was epic from Tolland to Brockton, literally. The lightning was so sick, never have seen anything like that
  11. Dew crew as well!! If not, hopefully temps way overperform like 105's etc.
  12. it's been there on ensembles as well, the 20th to the 25th roughly. We'll see what happens, I'm just saying what the model(s) shows.
  13. Posted this last month, it's not unusual we see max temps in mid Aug-early Sept. Hopefully we max and max very high. "Some high late-season numbers in the past 25 years in Boston. all either tied or highest temps for their respective years. 98 August 29, 2018 96 September 08, 2015 93 September 02, 2014 95 August 18, 2009 96 August 25, 2007 93 August 22, 2003 101 August 14, 2002 " I remember the 2009 heatwave, had just became a FT driver that week, a co-worker in Nashua died of heat stroke 8/18/09 ("they" installed ventilation fans a decade later) Only 55 years old.
