Crazy. Really is a serious north south gradient with this one. I have about 3/4 inch so far. Looking at Pittsburgh radar you can see that northern band NWS mentioned in their write up. Looks like it might be a bit too far north for us. But I am not complaining. Any snow is good snow.

Everything has caved except the roads and sidewalks. May need to wait until dark for those to give up. Steady light snow. Beautiful out.

NAM looks good to me. DCA sounding at 03Z. And DC already has 5 inches on the ground at this point.

We'll be alright. I am happy with the look of radar already. Heaviest stuff may be a little south of us. But we have better temps.

Took the evening off from the models to avoid frustration. 6z 3K looked amazing for my area. Final call for mby 5 inches. 29/19

3rd richest county in the Country. I grew up there. But cant afford to live there anymore. Edit: actually just looked it up. And it is now THE RICHEST county in the country.

Came into this thinking it was a 3-5 storm for my area. Still feel that way. Gotta say the models have been jacking central Virginia for days. And they really have not wavered on that at all. RIC folk probably feel a little rug pulled. But generally the models have been pretty damn consistent.
