    Much more realistic. The late day and afternoon stuff is light. But it is going to be fun. Snow will be flying for damn near 24 hours.

    0Z HRRR is pretty savage. Drops 6.3 inches here in 5 hours upfront. Still a LONG ways to go on the run.

    I am a year or two from retirement. And I honestly dont care about anything work related anymore. Literally just going through the paces. Because if they can me tomorrow I am retired.

    Yeah. I wont be long here. An hour. maybe two. Returns are about 35 miles to my west.

    Its elevation. The "pincer" is all pretty high mountains there.

    It is snowing on 33 out by Feedstone Mountain. That's where I went to watch the snow pour during Sandy. It isnt very far away. And if the HRRR/3K are right you might actually do better than me with this one. I have elevation, 1250 feet, but it appears being slightly south of town will be better with this one. You still live in Stephens City right?

    Snow is falling 30 miles to my SW. Radar is filling in WAY faster than I expected. We are going to get completely mauled.

    Thats our backside stuff out there. All I care about right now is how KY, WV and southern VA are doing. We need to maximize the thump. That is out easiest way to get buried. And I think we will.

    Sun goes down and so do the temps. 30 with a DP of 3. This is going to be one cold snowstorm out this way.

    I probably will sleep very little tonight. I will wake up multiple times and just stare out the window. It is a weird obsession.

    We love our house decorated. So ours go up first weekend after Halloween and come down last weekend in January. Every single year. Those weekends are reserved.

    Same with all of us. Or we probably wouldnt be here. I have young granddaughters now. Cant wait to play with them in the snow.
