Obviously an IMBY post. But the Euro looks good for the 81 corridor. And it is not that far from getting almost everyone NW into the game. As a plus it is not like the Euro has been it's usual self this winter. It has had it's share of being wrong.

You have just been unlucky this year. The majority of the favored areas in the DC corridor are at or above climo. The FV3 is such a weenie run that it would most likely get you close to climo within the next week

I am at 28 inches for the winter after this storm. Need another 1.5 to hit climo this year. Overall a very decent winter so far.

I actually agree with you. I was looking forward to a 3 or 4 hour sleet bomb. I dry slotted shortly after the sleet started. I cant complain I got almost 7 inches of snow out of this. Really fun storm to track and watch fall.

Down to light sleet here now. And the radar is looking pretty empty to the west. Might dry slot right on time here.

First time in my life I have ever seen a sleet bomb mixed with heavy snow at the same time. It was nuts. Now over to a mega sleet bomb. Just pouring sleet. Swept snowboard with 6.8 inches on it.

It is just dumping quarter and half dollar sized flakes here. Unbelievably heavy snow!

Question about official measuring. I am going to clear my snow board to measure sleet. Does it make my measurement incorrect if I combine my snow and sleet total?

I will be one or two inches short of climo after this storm. This certainly was not a bad winter. 14 days with snow falling is a decent winter in my book. And we are not done yet I dont think.

Yeah. I am hoping with it being heavy it will cool the column enough again for snow for a bit. But probably a pipe dream. I am sleet here now as well. Over 6 inches though. So I cant complain.

The quality of the flakes is pretty crappy right now. Definitely starting to get a warm nose up above us. I am hoping that heavy band is snow.
