    Pretty insane national accumulation map. 6" plus from NE Texas to Maine.

    Hate to be rude. But we need them to be ice so we can get snow. If they rain we will get the ice.

    The GFS is a pretty nasty storm for my area. 7 inches of snow/sleet followed by .4 of ZR. Temps finally reach 32 degrees early Friday morning. What a mess. Temps then crash back into the mid 20's Friday midday. Concrete incoming.

    The cold push is just light years better on the GFS. 540 line is 50 miles south of the NAM at 60. GFS starts as snow down to RIC this run. Beatdown for all.

    Was just going to post about the RGEM. It is a pretty awesome storm for the NW burbs verbatim. Great snow/sleet bomb with very little zr west of the Blue Ridge.

    I would love to know at what level the warm nose is on this run. Because I don't see it on the upper level plots. Edited to add at hour 69. When the precip starts.

    Yeah. NAM starts as sleet at 9z in Winchester. It hasdonr so well this winter it is tough to discount it.

    0z HRRR is warmer for the Tuesday event than 12z was. Very little ice to speak of.

    The GFS is damn cold on Friday night and Saturday morning as well. Like single digits cold. This after reaching a high of 34 out here on Friday. Anything that does fall is going to turn into a glacier. Would be a prolonged mess for sure.

    RGEM has snow into my area at 6z Thursday. Seems to be a little faster than the other models?

    18Z HRRR is pretty icy Tuesday. Leesburg and west never goes above freezing.

    That is quite a thump on the Euro. .5 QPF in 6 hours as snow out this way.

    The GFS is pumping up the SE ridge again in the long range. Just in time to ruin our chances in late February.

    FFS sake. I actually agree with Chuck for once. WRF is inline with all the other Meso's Tuesday is over for sure. And Thursday is on life support.
