Yes I’m closer to YHZ so about 10ml north of Bedford. It’s insane out! I don’t throw that word around either. The winds are howling and vis is couple hundred meters at best. Sn+/Blsn+ currently.

And more T&L. This is crazy.

We have thundersnow and near blizzard conditions. Huge flash and house shaker. Just flipped to snow from IP a short while ago. This is earlier than forecast. Not sure how that will effect accumulations but probably a good sign.

How much for you Friday?
Not sure yet. Expecting the kitchen sink with strong winds. Might not be snowy but it won't be boring.

so had to look what you average but according wiki you get 1.58 inches of rain in January and 27 inches of snow record high is 62
Yeah i'm not sure what that kid is talking about. I've lived here my whole life (48yrs) and it most certainly has rained in January... multiple times.

There is like a parade of clippers on the gfs. Not worried if a few don't work out. At least it isn't boring like Christmas time.

This storm was glossed over a little to prematurely IMO. I thought this would correct west and still a full 24hrs to go.

Maybe this west shift will help push the Monday storm eastward. Just maybe.

Is it me or has the mid range guidance left a lot to be desired? Some pretty whole sale changes keep happening around hours 120 -168. Noticed it a few times this year. I suppose it's normal but just seems more dramatic shifts as of late.

This will be FROPA up here. Not a big deal. There will be another threat to latch onto shortly.

This ocean storm has major ice storm written all over it for here. I'd have no problem punting that.

Finished with 6” here. Not as good as it could’ve been but had to take one for the team so you guys could get your snow. R/S line crossed my area a few times so afternoon snow was mash potatoes. Did have thundersnow so that was a highlight. Dryslotted for a few hours with drizzle then flashed back to snow for the overnight. Most of the snow fell then. Sting was worse than the bite.

Wow. Beast mode on all the 12z models so far. Steady as she goes.

12z suite got me off the bench and into the bullpen. 12z Gefs mean is pure gold for Leo and I.

Yeah regardless on whether it touches any of us, that was a lot of model correction pretty close in. Not a good showing of the models frankly.

Yeah keeping an eye on this one. Sneaky potential. Right now it’s swing and a miss but it’s been trending closer. A few more adjustments and I might get into the decent snows as well as the Cape at least.

Difficult to get anything substantial from s/w's diving down from Timmins, ON. They can't turn the corner.

Nope. No Phase = No Bueno. Otherwise it's a southern low with no cold air to work with. It's rain with some catpaws at the beginning and maybe at the end. I'd rather punt it and save the snow on the ground for Christmas.

Sloppy phase will screw most of us out of what could have been a decent snow event. Grinch is still in play.

What is that? lol. A blue nose bomber.
Paitience grasshopper. We watch for now.

That system crawling up the coast on the 22-23rd ish is showing subtle signs it wants to be more of a player than just wide right. it's be creeping closer each run. Might not amount to anything though.

Weird weather week wrapping up here. Thunderstorms on Sunday. Foot of snow Wednesday night and now thunderstorms again. Never seen it transition like this before. Strange twists. Bye bye snow.

Finished up with 7-8”(approx). Hard to tell with so much drifting. Winds were the big deal with this. Several hours of sustained 30mph with gusts to 60mph made it all look and feel much worse. A true nor’easter.
