WB 0Z EURO now has the rain out of here by Mother’s Day am. In fact, after Saturday, the low is now farther offshore so next week is now looking dry with pleasant temps.

I like the nice days but this would be a pretty boring place if everyday was sunny and 70. I know I’m weird but I loved focusing on the weather today!!!! It was a great day. I took off and enjoyed looking out the window, going for a drive, and savoring what will probably be the last snowfall in my backyard for at least 8 months….

Nice way to end the winter season!!!! B+ My unofficial measurements in Brunswick, MD: about 20 inches. January 6-7 5 inches January 16 4 inches then sleet/ freezing rain. January 27 1 inch. February 13 3 inches. March 12 5 inches April 18 2 inches.

Snowing hard enough that sidewalks now have a slushy accumulation in spots. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

NWS Forecast for this afternoon for western Frederick County was horrible and should be updated. Rain. High near 45. Southeast wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Yes!!!! Snow covering grass now as well. DC weathermen still saying it is just snowing above 2000 feet. I guess Sterling is looking at their radar…

All snow mulch, cars, and rooftops whitening in SW Frederick county MD. There was no mention of snow in the morning NWS forecast here.

If the GFS scores a coup after being the last global model to show the storm on the 18th it redeems itself…. . Regardless of the rain snow line tomorrow looks like a nasty day due to the near freezing temps in N and W and heavy precipitation moving in by late morning. Anomalies tomorrow afternoon are impressive. WB 18Z GFS anomaly for 18th.
