    I don't buy that. Not when so many are on board with the thought of it coming. Now I'm not saying to start cashing checks we haven't earned yet. As I could totally see NY getting skunked, but no way the NE as a whole doesn't see the goods.

    Shouldn't you want a great winter local? Plenty of ski resorts/hill in NY state. I'm personally pulling for a winter turn around so I can snowmobile in NY state, since we can't chase it to other states.

    If that does happen I sure hope that a 10-14 window isn't winter.. would be great to carry that into February as well.

    I remember November of 2015 when co-workers of mine who lived in the Lancaster area of Buffalo, got up to 5 feet of snow. Only to have it all gone in about a weeks time (give or take I don't remember for sure.)

    Don't feel bad just about every year except one or two have been the wrong year to own a snowmobile in this past decade, ask me how I know

    At this point I will settle to just have white on the ground for Christmas, nothing worse than a green Christmas. Not sure how they do it down south...

    I took the back roads from Avon to Victor to do some Christmas shopping, was an awesome drive each way. Nice sized wet flakes in the air to make it feel like Christmas is only a few days away. Totally bummed about the warm up coming for most of this week...

    Huge Bills fan but even more so a bigger winter fan. Give me a few good winters and then yes sign me up for absolutely zero snow or cold temps, with a Bills Super Bowl. That way we can go to a January playoff game with just a hoody on.

    I live in basically on the Genesee county/Livingston County line. But as per riding goes, I go where the snow is. If WNY was to get a good LES event and I could ride from home I would or head down to Wyoming, Chautauqua, etc if Erie were to only bless the south. And if no Erie love we would be up east of Ontario in the Tug or ADK. May have to check out the eastern ADKs. Or Binghamton area if the snow pack holds up with this multi day run of 40s we have ahead of us.

    Starting the 24th through the new year I and a buddy are off. Hoping for some big snows so we can get some ride time in. For the last several years I have saved Vaca for this block of time off and have yet to do any riding in this time frame. Hoping 2020 is different! Also on top of all that, a white Christmas will be pretty awesome even if it's just a few inches to make it feel like winter/Christmas.

    Here in Caledonia basically not snowing any longer. Probably an inch or so is all. I will find it hard to believe if I wake up and there is any big change to what I see on the ground.

    Yup almost has the feel of throwing in the towel already. I know most of you don't like cold and dry. But sign me up for that vs. warm anything. We need some long term cold before we even think about snow. At least if it's 25 and dry with a dusting on the ground it will feel like winter, that's more than I can say for snow today gone tomorrow...

    I think I will take cold and dry over warm and wet or dry. At least cold gives you a shot, a warm pattern all but guarantees rain. Besides I hate mud, lol.

    Whether or not anyone is interested, but http://www.northernchateau.com is a great web cam page with different cameras throughout the tug hill with measuring sticks in most cams. They also have a 2nd site called gotsnowcams.com that have cameras throughout western ny and the Adirondacks.
