    Chris @bluewave you were right no real heat in sight which is good but I was wrong I thought we’d get some 90’s late August early September.

    Summer heat is over... the best part of the summer is on its way... hot in the sun but cool in the shade 0 humidity and highs in the 70’s and 80’s what more do you want?

    Just saw a bunch of geese travel south, winter is coming. I think we can still squeeze some heat early September but it’ll be dry heat so it’ll only be hot in the sun. Can’t wait to be tracking some snow events!

    Guys, I think there was a tornado in Long Island area. There has to be a lot of damage there tonight...Look at these two radar pictures.

    Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. There really isn’t a way to predict the winter. It’s just matter of guessing and going with your gut. I have a feeling we’re going to get bombarded with snow and feet of it. I just want a 36 hour blizzard that drops 40 inches in the city itself and I’ll be happy on a Friday night into Sunday morning

    There is heat coming again it won’t be as intense and as humid but look out late August early September some 90’s are possible

    From the looks of the pattern and my model reading the heat is not done... after Thursday we’ll have some nice days but at least the potential is there for more heat at the end of August and beginning of September but this heat will not be accompanied by high humidity, it looks to be the dry heat effect instead which would be good news. Have a good night folks

    I can’t wait until this stagnant airmass gets outta here and we get a nice stretch of upper 70’s with low humidity. I’m thinking the August 28th-September 7th timeframe

    Anyone think we still get a heat wave in the city the next few days? Very humid and disgusting out today 80 degrees with 82% humidity feels like 87, just nasty

    People that like weather like this make me mad. You know they don’t enjoy it it’s just that they pretend to so people that are realistic about it gets them mad hence myself. Nasty August humidity. Temperature of 81 with 72% humidity feels like 86.

    I doubt euro is right here most models have us maybe one or two days of 90’s no full throttle heatwave. I actually don’t even think we get more than 1 day of 90’s and even if we do there’s a bad cold front after the WAR relaxes. Regardless you got another week of summer than we start cooling down. We might get another surge of heat around mid September and that’s it!

    They are weakening. Barely anything south of Bronx in my opinion

    Constant thunder and lightning here in the Bronx. Looks better in queens but it’s definitely a cozy night to stay in with wifey and baby.
