  1. Feel bad for you man. Completely pessimistic and already have written Winter off before it even started.
  2. If I'm not mistaken, they were calling for a major blizzard on the 12th and 13th, I think it was the Farmers almanac LOL
  3. Well, this is a very vague map as we know and this can ( will ) change dramatically in One direction or the other depending on what transpires. But of course, with my optimistic side, we will pull those deep magentas down into Connecticut. :-)
  4. WW ... You know the deal...same S$#t.. different year. You have Jbenedet with his typical warm and no chance of the pattern producing Snow, to DIT with his famous line " Steiner "... But we know how he rolls. Once we have a Snow event... He'll be right on top of it with the enthusiasm of a 10 year old boy ( like the rest of us of course ). There's a group of people here that love to stir the pot. I used to take the bait and get sensitive... But learned it's all part of the game... :-)
  5. Lol.... Coming from you is like hearing a politician make promises to the people.
  6. Wrong again bud. Looks as if Rain is in the cards for us as of now. Can it change.... Maybe, but that's definitely a very Slight maybe. Can we get a lighter event ( maybe even a little snow here in SNE ).. again, more on the maybe side. The most likely outcome is Rain here and some Snow to the north. Time to send Stein packing ( at least on this one )
  7. Hey, isn't this is the December thread? Those maps are for Friday the 29th of November. Move on fellas.
  8. Nacho that really makes a difference. I can't really think of any Thanksgiving where we're outside. I mean yes, if we have a dry warm Thanksgiving, maybe the kids can run outside. But generally we're all inside, so I'd rather have the rain that we need. That wouldn't ruin Thanksgiving at all. A big snowstorm that could
  9. What's even funnier is there are some of you that are writing a storm off completely for the Thanksgiving Holiday, even if it's just rain. And then there's some of you that are saying it's going to be dry till the end of December. Come on now, get a grip and settle down. Same shyte..... Different year
  10. Same here. Funny thing, didn't the Euro just have a Major upgrade? And what is the difference between the Euro and the Euro AI? Is the second one experimental. Just trying to figure that one out. Anyway, The cold air meth wasn't really supposed to settle in until December? People be acting like this is some big loss LOL
  11. Well if you look at everything from The last 2 years as far as who to trust more, I would say go in the middle, but it is still a week out. All I care about is that we don't have a snowstorm on Thanksgiving itself.
  12. I absolutely do not want a snowstorm on Thanksgiving. I'm hosting this year and I'm having 20 people here who all have to drive. Now. Bring me some ambiance now. Even some accumulation would be fine. Just nothing that will force people not to drive. I'm completely down for a snowstorm or blizzard as we get into early December. Let's go! Mofo's
  13. I know, I just like busting his chops. Plus, he dishes it out to us too. It's all good ( And getting more rain is always a good thing, especially with our circumstances here and all around the Northeast )
  14. And you were so adamant that you ( most of the state ) would be lucky to get a 1/2" of rain. Lol Beer?
  15. Ok... What's also shocking is the amount of rain we're supposed to get has gone up. 1 to 1.5" in now? The for Friday night with something that just popped up last night it was very small. There is going to be some snow just north of us and just west of us of course, but we've been out of the Chance of snow here in Connecticut with this storm.
  16. As in? You must be talking about for Friday night, correct?
  17. What in God's name are you talking about. Not that we're going to get a copious amount of Rain, but as of tonight, they're still showing anywhere from point .9" to 1.25" in through the state.
  18. Not sure what newscast you're watching, but I can tell you that the few here in Connecticut have both meteorologists saying that this is not a drought buster by any means. The only thing they had said is it'll help with the forest fires.
  19. Ok .... Just enjoy what's about to happen. You were saying just a day ago that you would be surprised if we even saw .5" of rain. Man.. you've become jaded. Lol
  20. Yeah, as I mentioned, does look at this point like we can get some mixing in with some snow Thursday night into Friday and Saturday. Very sporadic but the idea of seeing some is pretty cool. I think the Berkshires in Vermont have a better chance of seeing some accumulation from this Friday into Saturday, not a blockbuster at this point. Maine, but you may be more on the side of the rain the way the storms rolling up, but you guys always get that cold air drawing in as a the storm goes by. I guess we'll know better by Tuesday, Wednesday
