  1. Was just thinking the same thing. At this point, I feel like the only thing that's going to happen is a surprise. Everything modeled never turns out the way it shows, especially when it's showing something major and then as we get within a week of the event, it just gets squashed. I do feel we'll have that surprise, just don't know when.. uugghh
  2. Well... Nothing says 3-6. Maybe 1-3. But at least we'll have snow on the ground. Edit..... I will say, there's always a chance for it to come back a bit Northwest, so I wouldn't be surprised if the totals could go up a smidge. It's happened with the last few storms. We still have 4 days to go for this to be adjusted.
  3. So, with this so far west, and the GFS East, is it safe to say we should go for an in-between? I think the Euro might have been more in the middle, but I guess we'll have confirmation around 1:00 where that is today. I don't know why everything seems so tough to get an idea of what's going to happen. Feels like we have to get around top of the event to know. Nothing's been easy the last several Winters
  4. I think it's still been cold enough as of late to knock out the tick population for now. Next week's another story as everything will get Frozen
  5. I'm definitely not taking the GFS too seriously at the moment. They're way too many models, not in the direction of the GFS. And we're not just talking the low-end models, but also the better models. As far as a Sunday night Monday deal, I think the GFS is the only one as far east as it is. Everyone else is closer to the coast in the sense of bringing snow up into Southern New England. So we'll see what happens in the next day or two with the GFS As far as later next week midweek and late week, not even bothering right now. I don't think any models have a grasp on exactly what's going to happen yet. Give it time.
  6. Still not a guarantee. For now, I'm in the 1-3" possibly 2-4". Have to see how all the models come together by tomorrow
  7. Let's hope you're right!! Next to week could be an active one
  8. Kev... I want to believe you but you haven't been right yet.
  9. Are we still thinking 2"-4" in for Sunday night into Monday for Southern New England?
  10. So the GFS is now coming Northwest. Shocker. As long as it holds, it's okay if it comes a little more Northwest. Haha
  11. ? Wait.. Aren't we talking about next Sunday night/ Monday?
  12. Do you in realize that you've become a jaded troll? Pull it together man.
  13. Does it say 12z? I think it showed it at 6z
  14. Let's see where the Euro lands a bit later.
  15. Lol... Man.. Take a compliment. No explanation is needed. Just thanking you in my in own way.
  16. Ya know I was kidding, right! I appreciate your input ( just took me some time to get used to it ) .... :-)
  17. Not sure I agree with your far interior comment. Not for the Sunday night into Monday timeframe.... If we get this storm, it will be Snow ( at least for CT )
  18. So what you were trying to say wassssss.................
  19. I agree, it did have it but much further back from when the storm was supposed to hit. It lost it at least a week out from the storm, and stayed that way. It was the GFS that had the storm raging about 5 or 6 days before , to then lose it. I get the frustration from everyone. Feels like every time there's a possibility we lose it. Hence the pessimism. Got to keep the hope alive. Why do you think everyone keeps coming back.
  20. I'm kind of liking the fact that the Euro does have the storm staying close to us. It didn't have it at all with the last one and it was right. So I do feel more confident that we'll have something. Now the question is what.
