  1. I don't think there's any lakes there as I believe the city's right on the ocean. I think this is more enhancement from the sea than it is from a lake, but I could be mistaken. I'm somewhat familiar with that area and landscape... I just don't recollect any big lakes close to that City
  2. Serious question. Why do do most of the METs ( at least wfsb and wvit ) always seem to use the Euro maps. They don't seem to put any Credence on the GFS. I noticed that's pretty much what they show when they show the storms coming in. I guess they still feel that the euro is the stronger and more reliable model. Just wondering everyone's thoughts?
  3. If this happens, I'll run naked down my street.
  4. As an absolute monster. My question is what does it look like 24 hours before and where was it heading as far as precipitation types for the Northeast?
  5. How about 2.7 in here. The other thing I wanted to mention is our temperatures. We're about 22°. Yesterday evening we were forecasted to be around 30 by 8:00 a.m.. so a bit colder than they originally said.
  6. We already have one for Thursday. I think we could start one for this Saturday, Sunday at this point.
  7. Flurries coming down now ( well for the last 15 minutes )
  8. Funny... Not a thing on the radar. Wonder who else is getting flurries in the state?
  9. Not on this one... The heavier snows heading right over CT ( well .. 1"-3" for most except the immediate shoreline, but it is a fast moving Clippah )
  10. Once can hope that we will finally break though for a nice stretch.
  11. Maybe the Snow melts have been slow, but the human melts..... Not so much ( I can attest to that..lol ).
  12. I blocked is Arse.... Rather not even see is malarkey!
  13. Yeah... Our blizzard of 2013 was the 8th I believe.
  14. I agree partially to your statement! Just add to it BIG DOG DOODY IS COMING! And we are there...lol
  15. Hopefully the rest of SNE get in the fun
  16. Wolfie is right, cold has won over, it just hasn't connected with the precipitation to give us the bigger snows ( I'm talking about the southern New England region and South ) Anything can happen and there's no guarantee. We just need to wait and see.
