GFS looks totally different than before for MLK - and not in a good way.

Euro looks nothing like GFS for MLK weekend.

12z GEFS supports the OP for Day 7-9. Mix of good hits and rainers (leaning towards rain).

GFS has a follow up storm that misses to the south. This map is just LOL though.

Temps are torched verbatim. Nice to see a storm but hopefully it doesn’t go down like this.

Verbatim 12z GFS is a disaster with one storm missing north and another missing south, but good to see at least some chances.

Thx. Verbatim it ended up a snow to rain event for most of us. But still close to a good event. Better in NE as you predicted.

She’s probably going to cut and that GL low isn’t helping but is this not close to a good look? I’m still learning here.

We can add Texas to the list in about 48 hours. Then Louisiana as well.

Wasn’t the NAM the first to sniff out the north trend/fail of our mid-December storm?

Looking at latest weeklies. Looks like we lose the +PNA around 1/23 and it stays negative through February. We keep the -NAO throughout, but February is AN temps with ridging in the east. Don’t know how skillful this model is. Hopefully we score in second half of January.

A lot more coastals showing up on 12z GEFS for next week but many of them are rain for much of us.

Well it only took 360 hours, but the 0z GFS finally gave us snow.

The “storm” gets suppressed all the way to Cuba on the GFS.
