  2. Hopefully the quicker synoptic bands come in from the south sets us up for good lake enhancement
  3. Southern DuPage county getting in on the action Best organized lake effect snow this far west in a long time..
  4. Hoping those bands from the south start to pop a bit northand merge with the lake effect

  10. At this point are we just rooting for a stronger system to push NW Stronger storm = NW? Weaker = SE? or what are we specifically looking for to root more NW?
  11. Is it possible they don't want to take away from the current wind chill headline the further west you go where the snow threat is less.. Let that expire then issue the watch or warning? Or is that not how it works? Scratch that. I see the wwa now
  12. I'm not sold that high yet though.. Waiting for trend to continue Are you banking LE makes it this far west? Or more synoptic snows?

  17. This last band is legit.. moderate to heavy snow.. nice end to a pretty decent little event

  20. Exactly.. models are having a hard time figuring out each storm 72 hours out as its predisesor is being ironed out. problem is it's a parade of storms each within 72 hours
