  1. About a quarter inch in the past hour. Up to 1.25" Accumulations on everything except the roads. Wind picking up a little.
  2. 06 Euro with a solid swath of 10-12" from Delaware, to the Jersey Shore, to LI
  3. Temperature starting to drop. Still mostly rain, but a few large, wet flakes falling too. 37°

  5. I would not be surprised if my place gets 1" of slop, maybe even all rain. I think this ticks west a bit more
  6. Woke up to the most pathetic dusting I have ever seen. Onto the next one...
  7. Consistently gusting over 50 mph along the Jersey Shore north of Barnegat Inlet. Mantoloking recorded 59 mph. Sea Girt also recording 59 mph. I'm 5 miles inland and the wind is howling though the trees. Windiest I've seen since Isaias.

  10. Nothing is more miserable than a 34° rainstorm. Looks like that's what it's going to be down here. Doubt it at this range, but hoping for ticks SE.
  11. 1989 Hurricane Hugo was an interesting story. Aircraft lost one and almost two engines penetrating the eyewall and nearly crashed into the ocean from the turbulence. The story was featured on "Air Disasters" on the Smithsonian channel
