  1. Nice spring day here. Flowers starting to bloom in the garden. Working on building a custom hammock stand for the yard. 62 for a high. Pea soup weather returns tomorrow
  2. 2.08" overnight here. Couple good boomers too around midnight.
  3. Getting some lightning just to the south as well
  4. Wind really starting to rip now. Just as the wind advisory expired. Peak gust of 48 mph so far.
  5. Migraine weather. Almost prefer sun and 30s
  6. Made it to 66 before the sea breeze brought it back to the 50s. That's how it goes this time of year. Tomorrow will be a great day to do a paint correction on the truck after taking down a trail a little too narrow. Hoping the clouds can clear on Thursday night for the lunar eclipse but we might be looking through soup if the marine layer persists.
  7. Finished with 1.97". Should make a nice dent in the drought here. Now time to go surf
  8. Fire hose continues. 1.92"
  9. Much, much, much needed rain down here. Up to 1.22" so far
  10. I'm ready for spring. Sun feels fantastic if you block yourself out of the wind. This $25 charcoal grill will be used heavily on these sunny days.
  11. Low 60s with the smell of burning pine in the woods from some prescribed brush fires. Feels like spring.
  12. Maybe bone dry for the rest of the month?
  13. Wasted potential this winter. People have been calling me that for the last 10 years.
  14. The NAM is like that abusive ex that keeps coming back. Once you think you finally got rid of her for good, she shows back up at your door.
  15. Yup some of us in southern areas have a very legitimate chance for warning-level snow. Wouldn't seem like it though because this sub has bipolar disorder
  16. These big shifts just go to show the models have no clue wtf is going on
  17. I think as of now, models are relying too much on the -AO and interpreting that as too much suppression.
  18. Sarcasm aside, the energy for Thursday is still 3000 miles away, not even ashore in the PNW yet. No balloon sampling data from that to inject into the models. We should see some of that data coming in with the 12z or 18z runs tomorrow. We have a long way to go. Not gonna know where this goes until about 48 hours lead time.
