  1. Two garbage severe days in a row, managed to miss every storm except for a lame 15 minute golden shower
  2. 90/69 here, CU field popping just east of me - probably the typical stalled seabreeze right along the Delaware bay's west coast
  3. Winds are calm right now which I think is a good sign. IIRC i vaguely remember someone saying that breezy conditions before storm chances aren't good.
  4. Storms forming just east of Baltimore right now as an update. For now it looks like only across the bay seems to be getting the action unless the line near pittsburgh holds together which i doubt it will.
  5. Looks like a night-time thunderstorm event on the way
  6. Yuck low topped thunderstorms... makes me wanna throw up
  7. Storms have missed me to the south but I got some nice views of cumulonimbus. Tonight seems like one of those nights where a surprise flare up of storms could happen
  8. Active severe season on tap if the long range 3 month models are correct about a slightly BN summer. Hottest part will probably be later in the summer, starting July and it could get a little dry at times but overall, active severe season.
  9. Round 2 just blew up outta nowhere over the chessy it seems
  10. Severe threat looks to be over. I had a nice short lightning storm, and a new cell popped up just east of me in the past half hour. Onto tomorrow, lol. Had a damn close strike btw
  11. Still some impressive dynamics around the Chesapeake and Delmarva area. There's still a lot of untapped energy in the areas where D.C and Balt have largely missed the action to the north. Wouldn't be surprised if we get woken up over the next few hours
  12. I think I see a wall cloud on the storm across the bay. Southern NJ storm.
  13. I like the cell popping up in NE MD. Already have -60C cloud tops over a small area. NE MD PUMMELED
  14. Primed for a late evening storm. MLCAPE values are up to 2500 J/kg and the lifted indices are up to -7.. but I'm curious to see what parameters show if there's lifting, or are we just wasting the juiced atmosphere away
  15. 89/78 here in the rotisserie zone. Supercell composite values are pretty decent down here, wouldn't be surprised if a nighttime/evening storm comes around
  16. This is one hell of a lightning storm. Constant barrage and this is the 2nd storm to pass over within a half hour.
