Hottest of the year so far. 97/76/111.

96/78/113. Today will likely be the hottest day until Friday, and Saturday will probably be the hottest of the year.

idk but tonight kinda has the last Thursday vibe to me. Hot and steamy with an embedded shortwave coming in from the mountains.

Saw a PWS at 95/89/135 a couple mins ago. Overinflated no doubt but its fun to see those crazy numbers.

There are some crazy ass PWS' with dewpoints in the upper 80s (obviously overinflated) but damn. Those heat index values. Grass is still somewhat wet from this morning and its 90 degrees.

Just downright soupy with the first 80 degree dewpoint. 89/80/105 currently.

Ah. I misread. I live basically right in the middle of a neighborhood so my readings are gonna be slightly higher. However I only have one station, so I might invest in another thermometer. 92/74 here currently, the dewpoint fell a little after a high of 95.

You sure your weather station (if you have one) isn't under a bunch of trees? Seems kinda low for today's temps. Like under a whole forest. A couple trees is fine.

Sometimes during the summer when the sun comes up strong, the rapid rise in temperature can cause the dewpoint to rise fast before falling back down.

Stafford airport recorded a dewpoint of 82 degrees around 10 AM.

Let's see if I can make a run at an 80 degree low or higher Sat and Sun. That would be a big achievement for the heavily rural area here. Something I haven't seen since August 13, 2016.
